Europe — Tailor-Made Journeys for Gay Travelers

Europe — Tailor-Made Journeys for Gay Travelers

Why Europe

Europe is where gay travel and I both live. I’m Italian, and every European itinerary on this page is built from places I’ve walked, eaten in, and slept in myself — not from a partner’s catalog. This is the difference between our Europe and the rest of our map: in Asia, Africa, and South America we work through carefully vetted local partners; here, the curation is first-hand. When I recommend a hill town in Puglia or a particular street in Athens at a particular hour, it’s because I’ve stood there.

It’s also, simply, the easiest part of the world to travel as a gay man. Same-sex marriage or civil unions are law in every country we work in, and the top of ILGA-Europe’s Rainbow Map — the continent’s annual LGBTQ+ rights index — is a list of our destinations: Spain ranked #1 in Europe in 2026, with Malta right behind it after a decade at the top. The legal frame matters, but what my clients notice is the everyday version of it: two men checking into one room is not a conversation anywhere on this page.

Where we travel in Europe

Eleven destinations, all with dedicated pages — from my home country to the islands, the Iberian Peninsula, and the North Atlantic.

Italy

ITALY

The home country — where I live, and the deepest part of our map. Six full itineraries, each built around the Italy Italians keep for themselves.

Greece

GREECE

The capital’s living gay scene and the islands the ferry crowds skip — paired at your pace. Same-sex marriage law since 2024.

Spain

SPAIN

Europe’s #1 on the 2026 Rainbow Map, worn casually — Madrid’s food halls and Chueca, then Andalusia’s Moorish-and-baroque streets.

Portugal

PORTUGAL

The soft entry into Europe — miradouros and fado in Lisbon, wine country, and Porto with the Atlantic never far from the table.

Colourful fishing boats in Marsaxlokk harbour, Malta

MALTA

A decade at the top of Europe’s LGBTQ+ rights index, golden stone, and late nights — Valletta, Mdina and Gozo, paced around you.

Croatia & Slovenia

CROATIA & SLOVENIA

From the Alps to the Adriatic in one journey — alpine calm, Istrian tables, and walled cities on a warm, uncrowded sea.

Sea cliffs on Ireland’s Atlantic coast

IRELAND

The first country to say yes to marriage equality by popular vote — Dublin’s literary and queer history, then sea cliffs and fires lit by afternoon.

England

ENGLAND

History you can touch — the historic cities through their queer minds, or the slow road west to Regency Bath. Both tailor-made, both yours.

Guildhalls on the Grand-Place in Brussels, Belgium

BELGIUM

Four small, beautiful cities at a slow, easy pace: Brussels, Ghent, Bruges and Antwerp.

Mont Saint-Michel seen from across the bay, Normandy, France

FRANCE

Paris, then something quieter: Normandy and the D-Day coast, or Versailles and the châteaux of the Loire.

The Frauenkirche on the Neumarkt in Dresden, Germany

GERMANY

Berlin, the restless capital, and Dresden, the Baroque city that rebuilt itself — two hours and a world apart.

How we work in Europe

Three things make our Europe different.

First-hand, not catalog. I’m Italian, I live here, and the European product is the one I built personally — hotel by hotel, town by town. The recommendations are mine, tested on my own trips and my clients’ feedback, not licensed from a brochure.

Boutique over brand. The hotels we book are the independent and the storied — a palazzo in Lecce, a quinta in the Douro, a townhouse in Valletta — chosen because of who runs them and how they treat two men traveling together, not because of a loyalty program.

The right hour. Europe’s great places are ruined and redeemed by timing — the Alhambra at opening, Venice after the day-trippers leave, a Cycladic harbor at seven in the evening. We design every itinerary around when to be where, not just what to see.

Coming next

The European map keeps growing. France and Germany are in active planning, and we’ve been building relationships in Berlin and Dresden this spring. If the Europe you want isn’t on this page yet, write to us — bespoke design is most of what we do.
