Who we are
I know what it feels like to arrive somewhere and wonder, even for a second, if you’ll be truly welcome. I built Gay Up Travel in 2021 so that feeling never has to cross your mind — a boutique LGBTQ+ travel agency I run myself, serving primarily North American clients. I’m Francesco, an Italian travel planner, and over the years I’ve lived in and traveled across most of Europe — Italy, France, Germany, the UK, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Malta, Croatia — and well beyond, from Morocco to Vietnam. Every hotel, every experience, every partner I work with has been chosen with that in mind — and tested personally, by me. Gay Up Travel is a member of the International LGBTQ+ Travel Association (IGLTA). Ten years of relationships across these places, all in service of one thing: a trip where you can simply be yourself.
